Walter W. Bardell
Funeral services for Walter W. Bardell, who died yesterday at Saline, Mich, will be conducted at 1 pm Tuesday at the Dale E. Ranck funeral home. Officiating will be the Rev. John Thornburg, Baptist church, Winfield, and interment will be made in the Millerstown cemetery.
Born Jan. 27, 1906 in Mifflintown, he was the son of the late Charles and Catherine Brown Bardell and had been a cement worker by trade. He formerly resided in Milton. His wife is the former Mary Myers.
Also surviving are four sons; five daughters; three brothers, Charles, Bird Lake, Mich,; James, Carlisle; and Eugene, Beach Grove, Ind.; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Haupt, Williamsport; Mrs. Bertha Bennage, 456 Brown Ave., Milton; Mrs. Sarah Gutshall, Williamsport and Mrs. Edna Minnick, Mifflinburg; one half brother, Wesley Bardell, Pittsburge and two half sisters, Mrs. Tressie Kendrick, Mifflin and Miss Pauline Bardell, Harrisburg.
Friends will be received at the Ranck funeral home from 7 to 9 pm Monday.

Walter Wilson Bardell, 61, died Friday at his home at 9630 Moon Rd., after a brief illness.
Born January 27, 1906, in Mifflintown, Pa., he married Mary Ellen Myers on April 24, 1926. She survives.
Also surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Grace Pesola of Highland, Mrs. Viola Midura of Ypsilanti, Mrs. Edna Dinan of Detroit, Mrs. Clara Gebhart of Flint, and Barbara, at home; and four sons, Earl of Lansing, George at home, Jay of Wayne, and Edsel of Wayne; and 23 grandchildren, all living in Michigan.
Sisters and brothers also survive: Mrs. Sarah Gutshall of Williamsport, Pa; Mrs. Bertha Bennage of Milton, Pa; Mrs. Edna Minnick of Mifflinburg, Pa; and Mrs. Mary Haupt of Williamsport; and Charles of Osseo, Mich.; S. Eugene of Beech Grove, Ind., and James of Carlisle, Pa.
Memorial services were held Saturday evening at Bahmiller Funeral Home here; and funeral services were held Tuesday at the Dale Rank Funeral Home in Milton, Pa., with burial in the E.U.B. Church Cemetery near Millerstown, Pa.
