Survived by wife, Mrs. Sarah Burns Diehl, Madison; daughters, Miss Emily Jane Diehl, Madison and Mrs. F. E. Langvardt, Clay City, Kansas; 3 grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Ralph Perry and Mrs. W. Lloyd Smith, both of Nashville; brother, Walter J. Diehl, Sr., Nashville. Remains are at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1150 Dickerson Road where funeral services will be Wednesday, October 9th at 3:00 PM conducted by Rev. Larry Sharp. Honorary pallbearers: Charles Matthews, Frank Wilson, Joe Crowder and Member of the Old Hickory Lodge No. 598 F. & A. M. Active will be grandsons and nephews. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
