Sarah is my 4x great grandmother. Sarah Simpson reportedly donated the land for which Simpson Cemetery was established. Sarah was married to Thomas L. Simpson. She was mother to: George W. Simpson, Edward D. Simpson, Stephen C. Simpson, John M. Simpson, Sarah Lou Simpson Chapman.

While browsing FamilySearch.org I came across a note on Sarah's profile from a researcher stating that three of Sarah's children's names and dates of birth (Stephen, John, and Sarah) are listed in a family bible belonging to what would have been Sarah's sister, Malinda Coleman Boyd Keith (1806-21 Jan 1884 -Find A Grave Memorial # 93123683).
I did find the bible record that the researcher was referring to.

While researching Malinda, I was able to conclude that the father of Sarah and Malinda would be Charles S. Coleman (1762-1842 South Carolina) and possible mother Ruth Elizabeth Gibson.

Siblings to Malinda and Sarah: Charles S. Coleman, Dr. James Buchanan Coleman, Harriet Matilda Coleman Leggo, George Coleman, Joseph Coleman, Judith B Coleman Simpson (married to William Simpson a probable brother to Sarah's husband Thomas), and Jane B Coleman Smith.
