Francis Marion Brown, 16020 Firmona Ave., Lawndale, died Monday, Dec. 31, in a Pomona Hospital.
he was born March 7, 1877 in Illinois and lived 5 years in Lawndale. He was a self employed carpenter in building construction 40 years.
Survivors are daughters, Gertrude Wales of Vallejo, Hazel Peltier of Lawndale, and Nina Collins of Pomona; brother Purl Brown of Oklahoma; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday Jan 4, in McCormick Mortuary Chapel, Hawthorne.
Interment will be in Inglewood Park Cemetary.
Dr. Hugh D. Morgan will officiate.
