Died- At Farmington, Mo. on Sunday, June 6, 1915, G.L. Welker, aged 58 years, 7 months and 14 days. Remains of deceased were shipped to this city for interment, which took place at Park Cemetery Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 o'clock. Religious services were conducted by Rev. H.H. Johnson, pastor of the Methodist Church at the residence of G.M. Johnson. Mr. Welker is survived by one son and ten daughters. Mr. Welker, for a number of years was a citizen of Cotton Hill Township, Dunklin County. He was a thrifty and honest gentleman with commendable habits, who was held in high esteem by all who knew him. His sad and untimely death is truly very much regretted Mr. Welker was born and reared in Bollinger County and has two brothers and many other relatives and friends here, who will be sorry to know of his death.
