James Hunter Sharp, 69, 1251 W. 3rd South, died of natural causes Monday at 9:20 a.m. at his home. Born May 31, 1896, to Stephen and Ellen Hunter Sharp, Almy, Wyoming. He married Fannie H. Hunter. She died, and he married Iva Romine Sept. 6, 1960, at Reno, Nevada.
He was retired as a switchman from Union Pacific Railroad in 1955. He was a member of Railroad Trainmen's union.
Survivors include his widow; a son and daughters, James H. Jr., Mrs. Frank (Patricia) Stephens, both Salt Lake City, Mrs. Lyman (Helen) Hirschi, Geneva, Idaho; 10 grandchildren.
