Funeral services for Nettie Mae Platt Tucker, 92, of Farmerville were held at 10 a.m. June 2 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Farmerville. Pastor Robbie Lawson officiated. Interment will follow in Farmerville City Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Farmerville.

Miss Nettie was born on December 23, 1915 and passed away after a lengthy illness on May 30. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Farmerville. She is preceded in death by her husband's, Bennie Platt, and Dickie Tucker, grandson Bennie Watson and brother, J.V. Lunsford.

She is survived by her son Danny Platt and wife Donna of Jasper, Tex.; daughter, Becky Hembree of Ruston; Sue Pace and husband Stevie of Marion; Cheryl Harrison and husband Ronnie of Monroe; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, sister, Jerry Thurston Brantley of Farmervill; and numerous nieces and nephews.Memorials may be made to the First Assembly of God Church in Farmerville.
Pallbearers were Jason Platt, Jamie Platt, Steve Thurston, Mike Thurston, Steven Thurston and Lance Thomas.Honorary pallbearers were Todd Craighead, Erin McKinsey, Shane Dye and Dwayne Rodgers.
