60 of South Vienna, died unexpectedly Tuesday, April 7, 1998 in his residence. He was born in Clark County, Ohio on March 3, 1938, the son of Frank and Ethel (Lowe) Boggs. Junior was employed at Borger Office Machines and Newton Typewriter for 35 years. He was a member of Eagles Aerie 397 and former member of the Noon Optimist Club. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Isadora (Dorie) Boggs; his mother Ethel Boggs of Springfield; daughter and son-in-law, Rebecca and Ronnie Lewis of South Vienna; a son Mark Boggs of Minster, Ohio; four grandchildren, Aaron and Stephanie Lewis, James and Eric Boggs; a sister and brother-in-law, Imogene and Gilbert McCombs; a brother and sister-in-law, Ray and Donna Boggs, all of South Vienna; a brother and sister-in-law, Lonnie and Mary Lou Boggs of Springfield; sisters and brothers-in-law, Patricia and Charles Steegall of Akron, Joy and Chris Rorris of Columbus; a number of nieces, nephews, and friends. Friends may call Thursday from 5-8 p.m. in the Ingling Williams Funeral Home, South Charleston Chapel, Funeral services will be held 10 a.m., Friday in the Brighton Methodist Church, where the body will lie in state for one hour prior to service. Rev. Richard Johnson will officiate. Burial will follow in the Plattsburgh Cemetery.
