Mrs. Barbara Louise Brook, 76, widow of Peter Brook, passed away about 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, at the family home on south Newtan street, following an extended illness. Born, at Fort Wayne, Indiana January 15, 1859, she was the daughter of Joseph and Mary Valiquette.
A sister, Mrs. A. N. Damarah, of Millcreek, Indiana and the following children survive; Fred and Magadeline, both of Indianapolis, Mary Antonia, of Bend, Ore., Clara E., of Cleveland, O., Ella of Gurnee, Ill., and Henry J. and Rose Brook, of this city. Three grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
Funeral services were held Thursday morning at 9:00 o'clock from the SS Peter & Paul's Catholic Church; interment in Mt. Calvary cemetery.
