Born October 16, 1905 in Kanosh, Utah to Mary Ida Bird and Harvey McDonald Cummings. Member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Married Maxine Stevens Dec. 2, 1929 in the Salt Lake Temple.

Don was one of the finest cowboys that ever sat tall in the saddle. He had a sharp wit and delightful sense of humor right to the end. He charmed everyone he encountered and never met a stranger.
