John Edward Holland, 80, died at the residence of his nephew, Marvell Cochran in Central community, where he made his home. He had been ill for three years.
A retired farmer, Holland was a native of George County and a member of the Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held Friday from Corinth Baptist Church with Rev. Lewis Breland, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Shady Grove Cemetery, Fails Funeral Service directing.
Survivors include six brothers, J.M. Holland, J.W. Holland, J.A. Holland, A.V. Holland, all of Lucedale; W.W. Holland, Wade; C.C. Holland, Moss Point.
Also two sisters, Mrs. Sammy Cochran, Lucedale; Mrs. Sadie Sheperd, Pascagoula and other relatives.
