Nona Callahan, 71, of Brady, died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2003, at the Bellaire Medical Center in Houston, TX.
Services were Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 2 p.m. at the Brady Community Center with Pastor Jim Nichols officiating. Burial was in the Gaslin Cemetery south of Brady.
Callahan was born April 2, 1932 to Harley and Lenora (Pramberg) Craig near Brady.
Survivors include: her husband Paul "Bud" Callahan of Brady; four daughters, Cathlene Callahan and Cindy Callahan, both of Brady, Patty Callahan of Gothenburg and Maureen (Dennis) Hansen of Brady; one sister, Jacque (Leo) Gurule of Denver, CO; one brother, Dick Craig of Brush, CO; eight grandchildren, Jacinta (Brett) Meyer of Brady, Levi (Ambrea) Nelson of North Platte, Lacey Nelson of Lincoln, Kesha Karn of Lincoln, Casey Miller of North Platte, Molly Miller of Brady, Caitlyn Castleberry of Brady and Holly Hansen of Brady; two great grandchildren, Cameron Meyer of Brady and Tremaine McGhee of Lincoln; one aunt, Agnes McLean of Sterling, CO; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Steve and one daughter, Kelli.
