Funeral services for Tate Chancey, 68 former citizen of the county, was held Thursday at Morgan Hill cemetery. A resident of Fort Smith, Mr. Chancey died Tuesday night at a Ft. Smith hospital after a long illness. He was a retired cattle dealer. Survivors include the wife; five brothers, Ed of Barling, L.E. of Ft. Smith, and Loyd, Grady, and Dan Chancey of Ozark; and three sisters, Mrs. Ann Walker, Mrs. Lena Keith and Mrs. Willie Wisdom, all of Ozark.
