PINEVILLE - Mamie Mildred Farmer, 73, died Saturday at home after a long illness.
Born Feb. 5, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Booker T. and Melinda Byrd Tolliver. Mrs. Farmer was a member of the Russell Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Willis Farmer; one son, Charles E. Farmer of Woodbridge, Va.; one daughter, Theresa L. McConnell of Beckley; three brothers, Joe Tolliver of El Paso, Texas, Johnson Tolliver of Ravencliff, and Linville Tolliver of Mullens; three sisters, Thelma Fitzwater of Alpoca, Famie Cannaday and Ann Syner, both of Beckley; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Calfee Funeral Service Chapel in Pineville with the Rev. Carl Ferguson officiating. Entombment will be in Palm Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Matheny.
