"MRS. SUSAN FRY.
Mrs. Susan Fry, 85, widow of Adam Fry, who lived with her son, Jacob Fry, at Lincoln, was found dead in bed at 11:45 o'clock yesterday morning at her son's home.
Last week her son went to Florida, and since then she had been living alone. She was seen by neighbors Friday and when they failed to see her about the house yesterday morning they suspected that something was the matter. Two neighbors, William Hyman and Daniel Buch, after repeated calls and knocks remained unanswered, put a ladder up to her bedroom window, where the body was seen lying on the bed. The doors were forced open and Dr. E. R. Miller, of Ephrata, deputy coroner, was summoned.
Besides her son, Jacob Fry, Mrs. Fry is survived by a daughter, Lillie, wife of Clayton Brubaker, of Lititz, and three sisters, Mrs. Henry Wolfe and Mrs. Mattie Rhodes, of Lincoln, and Mrs. David Mellinger, of Manheim.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 1 o'clock at the home, and 1:30 in the Middle Creek church. Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery."
