Vinal R. "Dick" Lefler, age 90, died June 15, 1999 at his residence.

He was born on April 28, 1909 in Woodland, Utah the son of John Wesley and Emily Ann (White) Lefler. He married Erma Rose Sessions on Oct 23, 1930. She died on Aug. 21, 1980. He married Eva Gines on Oct. 24, 1980.

He retired from his occupation as an electrical contractor in San Francisco, California in 1972 and moved to the old family homestead in Woodland, Utah.

He was an active member of the LDS Church having served as bishop in two wards. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Eva, of Woodland, UT; son, Roger Thomas (Joan) Lefler, San Rafael, CA; daughters, Caroline Janet (Drew) Laudie, House Springs, MO; daughter-in-law, Marilynn Boggess, Sandy, UT; sister, Twila Crandall, Peoa, UT; niece, Ella Mae (Bill) Irby, Park City, IL; stepchildren, Gary E. (Joleen) Gines, Clark (Celia) Gines, Sharon (Russell) Berg, Jolean (William) Terry, Janean Hall; 21 grandchildren, 68 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren also 30 step grandchildren and 56 great step grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one son Richard Norman Lefler, five brothers and three sisters.
