Mrs. Ambrose Succumbs At 76
Wicomico - Mrs. Janie Anderson Ambrose, 76, died Tuesday after a long illness.
She is survived by her husband, Corneil Ambrose of Wicomico; a son, Frankie Ambrose of Sandston; two sisters, Mrs. Tommie Hall of Ordinary and Mrs. Columbus Hall of Hayes; brother, Walter Dunston of Bellamy; two grandchildren and a great grandchild.
She was a member of Providence Baptist Church and a member of the Ladies Bible Class of the church.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of the Hogg Funeral Home here, conducted by the Rev. R. Berkley Garnett, pastor of Providence Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be Elmo Sterling, Edwin Dunston, Mark Ambrose, Ellis Hogge, Virgil Forrest and Alonzo Ambrose.
