Mr. Helms is survived by his wife, Daisy Lee Register Helms of Bonifay, Florida; two sons, Bud Helms and wife Lana of Warner Robins, Georgia, Steven Helms of Millington, Indiana; one step-son, Marc Manning and wife Edith of Cantonment, Florida; two daughters, Marti Williams of Niceville, Florida, and Laura Bondurant and husband Bill of Millington, Indiana; one step-daughter, Lessa Lee and husband Dennis of Bonifay, Florida; two sisters, Waldeen Spencer of Magnolia, Mississippi, Eilene Brasington of DeFuniak Springs, Florida; thirteen grandchildren; and two great-children.
