Ottosen-Albert Young, 69, died Monday at his home. Authorities said the death was a suicide by hanging.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lindhart Funeral Home, Humbolt, with burial in West Lawn Cemetery, Lehigh. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Surviving are a son, Albert D. Young, Oklahoma City, Okla; daughters, Mrs. Gladys Wilcox, Lehigh; Mrs. Betty Johnson, Garden Grove, Calif; Mrs. Mary Schroder, Rockwood, Ill; Miss Patricia Young, Ottosen; 20 grandchildren; sisters Mrs. Ellen Nichols, Fort Dodge, and Mrs. Mary Prine, California.

Mr. Young was born and educated in Lehigh. He married Mildred Treat there and the couple farmed near Lehigh. Mr. Young was later employed by the Lehigh Sewer Pipe and Tile Company. They then moved to Rolfe where he had been employed for 22 years by the P. and M. Stone Company.

Mrs. Young died in September 1977. Mr. Young had recently made his home at Ottosen.
