Helen Jones Armitage, age 80 of Shandon, OH passed away at her residence on February 2, 2009. She was born on December 13, 1928 in Laurel County, KY, the daughter of Henry and Roxie (Manning) Jones. She married Owen Armitage and he preceded her in death in 2008 after 60 years of marriage. She is survived by two daughters Phyllis (John) Saylor of Shandon, OH and Teresa (David) Tragesser of Ross, OH; three grandchildren John (Cathy) Saylor, Russell (Kasey) Saylor, and Tara (Ben) Hutchins; two great grandchildren Olivia Rose Saylor and Davis Vernon Hutchins; one brother James Jones of Middletown, OH and many other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in by two brothers Finley Ray Jones and Foy Clifford Jones. Funeral services will be held at Charles C. Young Funeral Home, 4032 Hamilton Cleves Road, Ross, OH on February 4, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. with entombment following at Rose Hill Burial Park.
