Grandma Myra, according to census records was born in South Carolina. She first married William Rodgers on 24 Sep 1848 in Montgromery Alabama. In 1880 Census we see her living in Johnson County Texas as a widow with four children. In the 1910 census we find her living in Young County Texas as a widow of a Mr. Matthews. She was living with her daughter Sarah Elizabeth and son-in-law Thomas G. Gray.
