Son of the late Lewis Weatherford and Minnie Winningham Weatherford. He was a member of the Pressley Memorial Pentecostal Holiness Church, and a Navy veteran of World War II. Mr. Weatherford was preceded in death by a son, Ray Kenneth Weatherford and was the widower of Florrie Rudd Weatherford.
Survivors include daughters, Bernice Weatherford and Debbie Martin, both of Holly Hill and Mrs. David (Betty) Jones, of Elloree; six sons, John Weatherford, David Weatherford, Franklin Weatherford and Robbie Weatherford, all of Holly Hill, Donald Weatherford and Allen Weatherford, both of Eutawville; sisters, Virgie Rudd, of St. Matthews and Lillie Lee Adkins, of Holly Hill; brother, Jessie Weatherford of Eutawville; a number of grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandson.
