Grace Mollett of near Old Ripley, wife of Ben Mollett, died at her home October 17, 1914, at the age of 23 years, 9 months and 23 days. Mrs. Mollett was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Peterson and was a native of Bond county, having been born north of Old Ripley in Shoal Creek township. In 1907 she became the bride of Ben Mollett, who with one son, Lloyd and two daughters, May and Opal survive her. She also leaves her parents and five sisters, Mrs. Lillie Volentine of near New Douglas, Mrs. Minnie Seeger of near Old Ripley, Mrs. Cora Ray of near Pocahontas and Misses Gertie and Sylva Peterson who live at home.
