Armijo-Francis "Jerry" Armijo, 81 a resedent of Albuquerque, passed away Saturday March 7, 2009, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's surrounded by his family. Jerry is survivied by his wife Peggy; children, Carmela Armijo, Gerard Armijo and his wife Josie, Mary Louise Meyers and her husband Donny and Stephen Armijo; seven grandchildren, Anna, Lisa, Christina, Jessica, Monica, Holly and Stephanie; five great-grandchildren, Krystal, Jordyn, Alexys, Isabelle and Urijah; sibblings Jeanette Mitchell, Nina Browning and Charles Armijo; and many nieces and nephews. Jerry was born in Cerrillos, NM and Graduate from Santa Fe High School; received his Bachelor's in accounting from the College of Santa Fe and atteded the Anderson Business School at UNM. He served his country during WWII and retired from the service after 40 years. Jerry worked for the State Highway Dept, Civil Service and UNM Medical School. He will be buried at Santa Fe National Cemetery
