Mrs. Ida B. Atkinson 77, of San Antonio, Texas, formerly of White Pigeon and Three Rivers, died Sunday a.m. in San Antonio, after a shour illness. She was born in Brookston, Ind. on August 7, 1905, daughter of John and Laura Alice (Holliday) Weaver.

She lived as a child in White Pigeon, and most of her life was spent in Three Rivers, the last four years she has lived in San Antonio.

On October 10, 1937 she married Alex Atkinson, he preceded her in death in 1948. She was a graduate of Three Rivers High School in 1924, and was a former member of the Ninth St. Methodist Church in Three Rivers, the Hice Shutes Post No. 170, American Légion Auxiliary, D.A.V. Chapter 56, Member of the St. Joseph County Democratic Womans Club, member of the Fourth District Association, branch manager of the Three Rivers Secretary of State Office for 15 years, she was one the Youth Board of Three Rivers, member of the A.A.R.P., active in the P.T.A. and she was president of the Pin Oak Association in San Antonio.

Surviving are one son, Alex of San Antonio, Three daughters, Mrs James (Marjorie) Berger of Three Rivers, Mrs. Janet (Shaw) Desjardin of Mendon, Mrs. Armon (Verice) Grantham of San Antonio, 10 grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, one brother, Wilbur Weaver, of White Pigeon, one sister, Mrs. Rinda Holdsworth of Battle Creek, several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
