Norma J. Andrews of Hampstead, North Carolina was born the daughter of the late Leon F. and Bessie Edens Andrews. She graduated from New Hanover High School in 1944 and was also a graduate of the James Walker School of Nursing. Surviving are two sisters, Jeannine Smith and husband, Bill, and Bessie Andrews Broughton; two brothers, Leon F. Andrews, Jr. and wife, Ann and James A. Andrews and wife, Kay. Ms. Andrews died at age 81 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
