Belvin Kenneth (BK) Singletary, 86 of Holly Hill, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024.

Born on February 13, 1937 in Holly Hill Belvin was a son of the late Mae Grooms Singletary and Stephen Frederick Singletary.

Belvin was employed with Southern Tank Transport for 52 years. He enjoyed carpentry work especially making porch swings and handmade boats. Belvin loved fishing in the swamp, working at his sawmill, and gardening. His tractor was one of his favorite toys to work with. One of Belvin's favorite things was meeting old and new friends at the local diner in Holly Hill for a cup of coffee. He was an active member of Spinghill Methodist Church. Belvin will be remembered as a hard working man who always stayed busy.

Belvin is preceded in death by his parents; his wife Georgia Singletary, and a brother, Steve Singletary.

Belvin is survived by his son, Gregory Wade Singletary; daughter, Beverly Myzell (James); brother, Rembert Singletary (Betty); grandsons, James Myzell III, Kyle Myzell, and Marshall Myzell; 6 great grandchildren; and his nieces.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 27, 2024 from 12-1PM at Springhill Methodist Church, 2595 Old Gilliard Rd., Ridgeville. The service will follow at 1PM. Burial will conclude in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Springhill Methodist Church.
