Cheryl A. McMurray, 40, died Wednesday.
She was born June 15, 1960, and was a lifetime resident of Las Vegas. She was a teacher and a member of National Education Association.

She is survived by her husband, Eric; sons, Eric Jr. and Nathaniel; mother, Mary Wilson; and father, Nathaniel B. Wilson (2004), all of Las Vegas; sisters, Patty Dean Leggrone Pierson(2003) and Vivian Leggrone-Harris (2011), both of San Diego, Hattie Issac of Michigan and Dorothy Lemore of Louisiana; and brothers, Alan Love III of Las Vegas, Kevin Scott Leggrone (2008) of San Diego and Nathaniel Issac of Louisiana.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at Palm Mortuary-Downtown. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Vegas View Church of God in Christ followed with graveside services at 1 p.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery

Cheryl is preceeded in death by her sister Dianna Faye Brown (1996), wife of Lt. Barkley H. Brown - USN. She is laid to rest at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, California
