O.S. KENNEDY, the son of Thomas Corwin and Mary Kennedy, was born in 1871, near Knoxville, Marion, Iowa. He was the oldest child and only son of seven living children. Oll moved to Pottawattamie County in 1894 where he worked on a road crew. While in Carson, he met Miss Grace Braden and on March 14, 1900 they were married. Together they had two children, Mildred and Nina. The newly wed couple lived for a year in Des Moines where O.S. worked at a lumber yard. They returned to Carson and took up farming.
