Lillian Russell Gray Garrard, age 86, of Oakley Pebble Road, Owingsville, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at Pioneer Trace Nursing Home in Flemingsburg, Kentucky.


She was born June 22, 1922, in Fleming County, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late James Harrison and Lillie May Calvert Gray.


Her husband, Claude Earl Garrard, preceded her in death on December 30, 1984.


Mrs. Garrard is survived by one daughter, Audrey Reed and husband Emery of Owingsville, Kentucky; two grandchildren, Randy Reed and wife Vickie and Lynn Reed; two great grandchildren, Travis Reed and wife Jessica and C. J. Reed; one great-great grandchild, Taylor Reed; one sister, Pauline Emmons of Owingsville, Kentucky; and several nieces and nephews.


Mrs. Garrard was a homemaker and an employee of Pebble Grocery for 25 years. She was a member of East Fork Church of God.


Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Thursday, March 12, 2009, at East Fork Church of God with the Rev. Billy Harmon officiating. Burial will follow in the Longview Cemetery.


Pallbearers: Tommy Bradley, Wilson Harmon, Donnie Smith, Bobby Scott Trent, Darrin Campbell, and Jackie Hornback.


Honorary Pallbearers: J. R. Gray, Kenny Gray, Harold Purvis, Bob Calvert, Josh Mitchell, Gary Buckler, and Leo Gray.


Visitation is after 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at East Fork Church of God.


Arrangements are under the direction of Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.
