The Mass of Christian Burial for former Emporian Ronda L. Luna, 45, of Topeka [KS] will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. The Rev. Pete O'Sullivan will conduct the service. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. The prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today at the Roberts-Blue-Barnett Funeral Home.
Memorial Contributions to Hospice of Olathe may be sent to the funeral home.
Mrs. Luna died June 1, 2000, at the home of her son in Lenexa.
She was a scrub technician at Stormont-Vail Regional Medical Center in Topeka and earlier, was employed at Newman Hospital.
Ronda L. Sutton, the daughter of Thomas and Myrna Rodee Sutton, was born May 17, 1955, at Emporia.
Mrs. Luna is survived by a son, Jeremy Luna of Lenexa; a daughter, Jennifer Luna of Kansas City, MO; two brothers, her twin, Ronnie Sutton, and Steven J. Sutton, both of Emporia, and Douglas Sutton of Sydney, Australia; and three grandhildren. Her parents died earlier.
