Randal Trushcheff, 59, 1514 9th Ave. N., died Saturday afternoon at Trinity Regional Hospital.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Allen A. Hemeier officiating. Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery, with military graveside rites conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1856.

Visitation is after 4 p.m. today at Gunderson Funeral Home, with the family present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Betty; sons, Kevin, Watertown, Minn, and David, Fort Dodge; daughters, Lisa Trushcheff, Moorland, and Lori Trushcheff, Cedar Falls; five grand-children; and brother Russell, Boone.

He was born Sept. 8, 1933, at Duncombe and graduated from Fort Dodge Senior High School. During the Korean War, from 1953 through 1955, he served in the United States Army. In 1955 he married Betty Siefert in Fort Dodge. He worked for Hormel's until its closing, then became custodian at St. Olaf Lutheran Church, working until his retirement due to ill health.

He was a member of the American Legion. Memorials may be left to the American Cancer Society.
