Services for Leah Jane Gaumer, 76, of 800-19th St., will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Kroeger Funeral Home.

She died at 5:50 p.m. Friday in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born Oct. 20,1919, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Earl S. and Pearl J. Kreider Winegardner. On Feb. 24,1946, she was married in Logansport to Paul L. Gaumer, who died Feb. 18,1992.

She was employed by Logansport Community Schools for approximately 40 years. She had been secretary and treasurer at Riley- Franklin Elementary and Junior High School, and she retired from Columbia Middle School in 1975.

She was a member of Ninth Street Christian Church and Logansport Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3790 Auxiliary.

She was a 1937 graduate of Logansport High School.

Surviving are one daughter, Paula Gaumer, Logansport; one son and daughter- in-law, Lee A. and Cindy Gaumer, Logansport; four grandchildren, Allison Leigh Gaumer, Lauren Elizabeth Gaumer, Christopher Allen Gaumer and Matthew Kroeger Gaumer; two sisters-in-law, Helen L. Gaumer, Logansport, and Ruth Wolford, Hobart; and two nieces.

Father Timothy D. Kroeger will officiate the services. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. today in the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Woodlawn Center or to Riley Hospital for Children.
