Paul L. Gaumer, 74, of 800-19th St., died at 7:48 p.m. Tuesday in Memrial Hospital.

Born Oct. 31 1917, in Logansport, he was the son of Henry M. and Goldie M Patton Gaumer. On Feb. 24, 1946, in Logansport, he was mamed to Leah
Jane Winegardner, who survives.

ln retired in 1979 as a yard conductor for COnrail.
Mr Gaumer was a veteran of the US Army, and retired in 1977 as a major in the Army Reserves.

He was a memter of Ninth Street Christian Church, Orient Lodge #272, Fraternal Order of Eagles, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, 40 et Eight Voiture, Urited Transportation Union and Retired Officers Association.

Also surviving are one son, Lee A., of 3008 E. Broadway; one daughter; Paula of 1900 Smead St.; two sisters, Helen Gaumer, Logansport, and Ruth E Wolford, Hobart; and four grandchildren.

Servuces will be held at 11 am Friday in Kroeger Funeral Home, with Father Timothy Kroeger officiating. Burial, with Military Honors, will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 pm Thursday in the funeral home.

Memoriaf contributions may be made to the VFW National Home or Riley Hospital for Children.
