Twice this well known woman was married, first to Francis Hussong, in Germany in 1845. Her first husband died in this city in 1861 and she was again married in 1865 to Theodore Hobrecker, who died in 1869.
To the first union there were eight children, of whom four were living at the time of their mother's death. Two sons, Frank Hussong, of Quincy IL, and William Hussong of Columbus, IL survived her and also two daughters, Mrs. Catherine A. (Elias Charles) Rockenfield of Bowen and Mrs. Lizzie (Elizabeth) Johnson (wife of White Johnson), of Quincy with whom Mrs. Hobrecker had made her home for the last six years of her life.
