John G. Dollison 73, 203 N. Seventh St. Byesville, died at 3:20 p.m. Tuesday at Guernsey Memorial Hospital following an illness of four years. He was born March 11, 1894 in Quaker City, the son of Valentine and Letitia Long Dollison. He was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and a retired plant guard at the Ecko Co. He leaves four daughters, Mrs. Doris Johnson, Eldorado, Ill.; Mrs. Virginia Fletcher, Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Mrs. Martha Moffatt, Byesville and Mrs. bonnie Harding, Cambridge; on son, John A. (Jack) Dollison, Dillon, S.C. seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. His wife, the former Roxie Sigman died in 1957. Two brothers and one sister are deceased. Friends may call at the McGaughy Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with the Rev. Paul Crooks officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
