Services for Mrs. Alta Susan Gano were held in the Presbyterian Church. Mr. and Mrs. Gano moved to Canyon 25 years ago. They had been making their home in Lamesa where Mr. Gano is employed. Their son, Billy Gano, had remained in Canyon to finish out the school term here. Mrs. Gano was in Canyon visiting Billy and was taken to the home of her mother, Mrs. Anna E. Gregory of Amarillo. Survived by her husband; one son; her mother; two brothers - Lee and Doyle; two sisters - Etta B. Anderson and Mrs. V.L. Stewart.
