Sarah Jane Dye married James Henry Stark. They had 11 children, Bessie, Mamie, Beulah, Lillian, Ethel, Wilbur, Juanita, Matthew(Mac) and Ruth all lived to adulthood. Her oldest daughter Louisa died as a infant. And her oldest son Earl died very young when a tree fell on him.She was a very kind and loving person.

I remember watching the frog legs, for Gr, Grandma Sarah, she was blind, and could not see if they jumped out of the skillet.She cooked mostly on a wood burning stove.You ate 4 times a day and the men ate first.She made the best Cherry Cobbler, Sarah my have been blind but she should tell if you got any Cherry's off her two tree's. She smoked a pipe and was a wonderful Women.
