Mrs. Leffert Dies; Rites On Saturday
Mrs. Clara Leffert, route 4, city, died at 4:35 p. m. Wednesday at St. Joseph's hospital. She was 78 years old. A lifetime resident of Logansport. she was born here Sept. 19, 1879, the daughter of Mathias and Mary Lash Schneeberger. She was married to Leo Leffert, who survives. Mrs. Leffert was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic church here.
Surviving besides the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Zita Leslie, route 4, city; and Mrs. Clara Williams, Washington, D.C.; two grandchildren, Hubert Leslie, Logansport, and Mrs Lucreda Hutton, Indianapolis, and five great grandchildren.
Friends may call after 7 p. m. Thursday at the Kroeger funeral home, where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday.
Funeral services will be at 9 a. m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic church, with Msgr. Maurice Foley officiating. Burial will
be in St. Vincent's cemetery.
