where he had been a
patient. He had been a resident of
Brethren Village in Flora.
Born Sept. 16, 1897 in Logansport
and was the son of
Theodore and Julie Ann McCain.
His marriage was June 6, 1939 to
the former Mary Lou Atwell, who
died November 13, 1973.
A retired Sears truck driver, he
was a member of the Fort Wayne
Fraternal Order of Eagles No.
248.
Survivors include two
daughters, Mrs. Jerry (Dorothy)
Lancaster, Logansport and Mrs.
Richard (Joan) Bower,
Logansport; a step-son, Arthur
(Bus) Atwell, Logansport; six
grandchildren; three step grandchildren;
four great grandchildren;
and two step great-grandchildren.
A brother and two sisters
preceded him in death.
Funeral services were at
McCloskey -Hamilton-Gundrum
Funeral Home with burial in Mt.
Hope Cemetery.
