Unity – Jennifer Lynn Mitchell, 18, of Hunter Road, died Thursday, October 7, 1999, at a Bangor hospital following a long illness. She was born February 1, 1981, in Waterville, daughter of Bradley and Patricia (Raven) Mitchell.

She was a 1999 graduate of Mount View high School, where she sang in the chorus. She was a member of the Quaker Hill Christian Church Youth Group and attended the IWANA Youth Group at Knox Ridge Baptist Church.

Jennifer worked at Tally-Ho II Stable in Morrill. She rode the horse "Moon Shadow" English style in many horse shows. As a little girl, she loved animals and had a collection of unicorns.

She is survived by her father, Bradley Mitchell of Hunter Road, Unity; her mother, Patricia Smith of Unity; a brother, Robert and a sister, Karen of Hunter Road, Unity; a half-brother, Skyler Mitchell in Burnham; paternal grandparents, Kenton and June Mitchell of Unity; maternal grandparents, Robert and Sandy Raven of Burnham; maternal great-grandmothers, Beatrice Raven of Knox, Arleen Siebert of Conn.; and her pet dog, Ashley.

She was predeceased by a half-sister, Heather Mae Mitchell.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, October 10, at Quaker Hill Christian Church in Unity. Burial will be made at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Freedom.
