Marguerite Elizabeth Swartzfager, 96, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at the Rouse Home in Youngsville, PA. She was born in Ashtola, PA to Frank and Ellen McKee Henry on November 30, 1911. The family soon moved to Davis, WV, until she was 14 years of age. At that time, the family moved to Sheffield, PA, where Marguerite spent the rest of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Harold Swartzfager, whom she married on January 27, 1931; brothers, Robert Henry, Williamsport, PA, Frank Henry, Baltimore, MD, Edwin (Ned) Henry, Clarendon, PA and Leonard Henry, Sheffield, PA; and sisters, Susan Kobbe, Montoursville, PA and Ruth Samuelson, Sheffield, PA. Marguerite is survived by her son, David Russell Swartzfager and his wife,Kathy, of The Woodlands,TX; granddaughter, Christina Herzog and her husband,Dan and great-grandsons, Sammy and Benjamin Herzog, all of Chicago, IL; and granddaughter, Larisa Swartzfager of San Antonio,TX.

Marguerite attended Davis and Sheffield schools and was employed for 20 plus years as an office lead for SS Kresge Company in Warren, PA. In 2006, she was honored for her 80th year as a member of the Sheffield United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Senior Women's Club and the Senior Center in Sheffield. Marguerite loved life, and her friends. She continually brought joy to others with a kind word and smile for everyone. Always a loving, supportive and wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt,she is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family.
