FRED COAKWELL DEAD

Member of Markham Township council for several years, Fred J. Coakwell died in Markham on Sunday last, aged 65.
For many years he farmed at lot 4, con. 9, but recently retired to the village. He was a valued supporter and member of the United Church, and was well known over the municipality through his municipal activities. Surving are his wife Ada C. Steckley, two sons and two daughters. Funeral on Tuesday was from the old homestead, and proceeded to Box Grove Cemetery.

PAY LAST RESPECTS TO FRED COAKWELL

Markham, May 8, - The funeral of Fred J. Coakwell, whose death occurred Sunday at his residence, Concession 9, Markham township, took place yesterday. Rev. George Dix conducted the service. Interment was in Box Grove Cemetery.
Chief mourners were his widow and two sons, Harold and Arthur, and two daughters, Mrs. John Jackson and Miss Anne Coakwell.
