Funeral for Jill Leen Looney Clemmons, 36, formerly of Decatur, will be Monday, Oct. 2, 2006, at 3:30 p.m. at Austinville Church of God with the Rev. Harold Coomer officiating and Shelton Funeral Home directing. The body will be at the church from 2 p.m. until service time.
Burial will be in Basham Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Clemmons, who died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, at her home, was born Jan. 31, 1970, in Battle Creek, Mich., to John and Judith Rolf Looney. She was a member of N.A.W.L.A. and Austinville Church of God. She graduated from The University of North Alabama. Her father preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving husband, Sam Clemmons, and her son, Gabriel Clemmons; her mother, Judith Looney of Decatur; one brother, Dr. John Looney of Birmingham; and one niece, Madison Looney of Birmingham.
Pallbearers will be Adam Schlagenhauf, Matthew Schlagenhauf, Jon Bolan, Bentley Vaughan, Ray Compton and Ronald Millsap.
