Erie Clevenger's niece, Flossie May Wilson Mills (daughter of Maggie Clevenger Wilson) told us that her Uncle Erie found this rock in a field -- the only thing like it -- and decided it must be one of the angels cast from Heaven by God. He took it and carved it himself as his gravestone. He was kind of different, and Flossie also told us that he kept goats inside his house.
