Abilenian, Former Coleman Cafe Man, Dies. Unexpectedly

Funeral for William Arthur RODDY, 64, Abilene resident the past nine years, will be conducted at 3 p.m. Monday from Elliott's chapel, Dr. M. A. JENKINS, pastor of the First Baptist church. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill cemetery.

Mr. RODDY died unexpectedly Sunday at 1:45 a. m. at his residence, 1941 Cedar.

A native of Illinois, he moved here in 1937 from Coleman, where he operated a cafe. He was a member of the Victory Bible class.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. May RODDY of Abilene; one son, Arthur Algene RODDY, a daughter of Mrs. Ed DALTN, both of Abilene; four brothers, Luther RODDY of Atoka, Okla., Claude of Seminole, Okla., Juston of San Diego, Calif., and Delbert of San Gabriel, Calif.

Pallbearers will be Don HANSON, Maston WOLFER, Carroll BOWEN, Ray and Rex SMITH, Kenneth PETERSON.
