"George Wm. Richards, 38, native of d'Iberville and resident of Biloxi 20 years, died at 6 a.m. Sunday at his home, 1222 Holley(sic) street. He had been a fisherman and was a member of Gulf Coast Shrimpers and Oystermen's Association. He is survived by his wife; two sisters, Mrs. Anthony Pons and Mrs. Geo. Gilbert, and other relatives. The funeral will be from the Pons home, 927 Thomas street, at 4 p.m. Tuesday with services at Central Assembly of God Church by Rev. Douglas Carroll and Rev. Whitmire, Gulfport. Burial will be in Biloxi Cemetery."
