Funeral rites for Joseph Nemeth, 81, of 755 W. Berrien St., who died Monday, were held today at 9 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church. Solemn Requiem High Mass was celebrated by the Rev. Antony Lane, assisted by the Rev. Patrick Byrne, deacon, and the Rev. Francis Oman, sub-deacon. Responses were by the church choir.
Burial was in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Pallbearers were all grandsons of the deceased and included Michael Johnson, Phillip and John Nemeth and John and David Hare of Galesburg, and Mark Nemeth, Lincoln, Neb."
