"Corinne L. Terpening
CAMERON - Corinne L. Terpening, 76, 2203 155th St., died at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday (Dec. 12, 1995) at home.
She was born Feb. 25, 1919, in Galesburg, the daughter of Axel and Ellen Johnson Johnson.
She married Donald Clay Terpening on April 23, 1938, in Galesburg.
Surviving are her husband; three sons, Edward Terpening, Alexis, Gerald Terpening, Abbeville, La., and Roger Terpening, Rio; three daughters, Janet Drummond, Benld, Marjorie Gray, Galesburg, and Marion Kuhn, Coal Valley; 19 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
She was graduated from Galesburg High School in 1937.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Coldbrook Christian Church, Coldbrook Woman's Club, Good Neighbors Club and Coldbrook School Parent-Teacher Association.
Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel, Galesburg, with Dr. Paul Ausherman officiating. Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg.
Memorials may be made to Coldbrook Christian Church."
