Last Rites Will Be Held Tuesday for Thomas J. Kiste

Funeral services for Thomas J. Kiste, who died in city hospital here at 11:15 am Saturday from injuries sustained when he was caught in an ensilage cutter Friday morning, will be held at the Everals church at 2:30 pm Tuesday. Rev. Taylor of Newcomerstown will be in charge. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Kiste was born at Everals on Aug. 23, 1874, the son of Harrison and Eliza Kiste. he spent his whole life in Oxford township. He was a member of the Foursquare Gospel church at Newcomerstown.

On March 4, 1904, he was married to Mary Elizabeth Simpson, who survives, together with two sons, John Edward of the home and Homer J. of Newark; five daughters, Mrs. Iva Nichols and Mrs. Abby Brady, both of Newcomerstown, Mrs. Sherlotta Huston, Coshocton, Mrs. Gladys Gaskill and Mrs. Mary Lohr, both of Canton; two brothers, Charles of Dennison and John of Shadybend; two sisters, Mrs. James Moore, Newcomerstown, and Mrs. Vera Kiste, Miami Beach, Fla., and nine grandchildren. One son, Frank, died in infancy and another, Roland, was accidentally killed in 1910.
